Glittering Text

In this tutorial, you will learn how to create a sparkling text effect in Photoshop in just a few simple steps. We will use yellow as our background color.

Step 1
First step is to create a new project
After that just select Text Tool (T) and select a thick font, such as Arial Black or Impact

Step 2
You can use any color for the background, but I will use yellow for this tutorial
Right click on the layer and select Blending Option
Select Inner Glow and select the color to light yellow, make it to look something as shown below

Step 3
Next, add Smooth Bevel and Emboss and set it 10px to have the effect as shown below

Step 4
Then add a Gradient Overlay with 15% opacity to make it looks better.
Use the Pattern Overlay with following pattern to give your text a little bit of rugged looks.
You can use any other similar patterns if you want

Step 5
In this step, with the text layer still selected,
right click and select Blending Option, then select Stroke
In the setting, select Position as Outside, Fill Type as Gradient, then use a golden color for your color
Make it to looks like the effect as shown below

Step 6
Duplicate the layer, then select the duplicated layer
Right click to select Rasterize Layer, go to Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur > set it to 3~4 pixels radius
Then hit CTRL+T to adjust the size to become as shown below

Step 7
The final step is to add some sparking stars to the text to make it looks better
To do this, just simply select Brush tool (B) and select a star shape brush, then paint it with White color
